Mike Ryan served as Head Golf Professional at Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, NH until his death on November 27, 2018. Mike was a dreamer, and had the conviction to carry out many of his aspirations – both within the Derryfield community and beyond. One of those dreams was providing an indoor golf experience at Derryfield. What started with one PGA Tour Simulator in the pro shop grew over time to three Simulators in a space of their own.

Mike’s family and friends loved to hear of the dreams he had to grow the Indoor Golf space, and especially enjoyed seeing his whole face light up when he was spitballing new ideas with the people he loved. Which is why his daughter Lauren knew that she wanted to continue to run the business after Mike no longer could. Before he passed, Mike was so proud to hear of Lauren’s plans. He would be equally proud today to see his whole family working together on this business (his wife Bonnie, Lauren and her husband Brett, and his daughter Kristen and her husband Jeff) – “spitballing” ideas, planning ways to have his dreams come to fruition, and dreaming ideas of their own.
